Bilah Digital Inc. (“Bilah,” “we,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using bilah.ai or app.bilah.ai, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: When you fill out a contact form, chat with our AI sales assistant, or create an account at app.bilah.ai, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, and message content.

Account & billing data: If you subscribe to a Bilah plan, we collect your email, business name, and billing information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).

Automatically collected data: When you visit our website we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is collected via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 4).

Communications: If you email us or respond to our automated email sequences, we retain those communications.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • — Respond to inquiries and deliver the services you requested
  • — Send onboarding emails and service updates related to your subscription
  • — Send follow-up email sequences to leads who expressed interest (you can opt out at any time)
  • — Improve our website, products, and marketing based on usage analytics
  • — Measure the performance of our advertising campaigns
  • — Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies on bilah.ai. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use three categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary

Required for the website to function (e.g., session tokens on app.bilah.ai). These cannot be disabled.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised data about how visitors use our site — pages visited, time on page, traffic source. This helps us improve our content and user experience. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept cookies.

Advertising

When you click an ad that leads to our site, or when ARIA campaigns are active, Google Ads and Meta Pixel cookies may be set to measure ad performance and enable retargeting. These are only set after you accept cookies.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Declining cookies will not prevent you from using the website but may affect some features.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share data with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver our services:

AnthropicAI inference for our sales chat and Moiz AI products. Conversation content may be sent to Anthropic’s API.
PostmarkTransactional and marketing email delivery. Your email address and name are shared to send emails.
StripePayment processing for subscriptions. We do not store card details; Stripe handles PCI compliance.
GoogleGoogle Analytics 4 for site analytics; Google Ads for advertising performance measurement (with cookie consent).
MetaMeta Pixel for advertising performance measurement (with cookie consent).

All processors are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes beyond service delivery.

5. Data Retention

Contact form submissions and sales lead data are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted unless you become a client.

Active client account data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

Email marketing opt-outs are retained indefinitely to honour suppression lists.

6. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and applicable provincial laws, you have the right to:

  • — Access the personal information we hold about you
  • — Correct inaccurate information
  • — Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • — Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (use the unsubscribe link in any email)
  • — Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

7. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a banner on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
